Dr. Kobel is a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy , and maintains a private practice in Los Angeles and Valencia, California.
With over 30 years experience as a therapist, and a graduate of California Graduate Institute specializing in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are Family and Relationship problems, Anxiety and Depression, Drug and Alcohol Addictions, Attention Deficit Disorders of Adults and Children, Child and Parenting Issues.
In addition, Dr Kobel is a Provider for Interactive Metronome, an interactive neuralogical treatment for Attention Deficit Disorders and other brain related dysfunction.

Dr. Kobel completed his first Masters of Education at the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1980. He continued his education to complete a second Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from the California Graduate Institute - Los Angeles, CA
